VIAAPP

VIAAPP: a highway platform each concession operator can adapt to its road

A white-label product for highway operators: roadside assistance, points of interest along the route, and real-time communication, customized for each highway.

Context

Every concession-operated highway has its own operations: rest stops, assistance stations, toll rules, and road events. A generic app is not enough. Operators needed a channel to road users that reflected the specific highway's reality.

What we built

We created VIAAPP as a product rather than a one-off project: a collaborative highway platform, fully customizable for each operator.

  • Road user assistance: help requests and support information with the driver's location.
  • Points of interest along the route: gas stations, restaurants, assistance stations, and services.
  • Operator communication with road users: alerts, road conditions, and campaigns.
  • Per-highway customization: visual identity, content, locations, and rules configured for each client on the same foundation.
  • An operations dashboard for operators to manage everything without relying on development.

The challenge

Customizable enough for each highway without becoming a separate codebase for every client. The architecture needed to isolate what is specific — content, branding, rules — from what is shared — assistance, maps, communication — while maintaining the integration and efficiency of a single product.

Results

VIAAPP became a platform Megaleios deploys for each concession operator, with the same foundation and an experience tailored to every highway. Users receive immediate road information and assistance; operators gain a direct channel to the people traveling their roads.
