In the Amazon, boats are essential transportation, providing access to many riverside towns. Buying tickets, however, was an in-person, disorganized process, with each operator working differently. Navegar was created as a single channel for purchasing boat tickets in the region.
Integrating companies that had never used a system, with different operations, into a single passenger experience. Everything also had to work under regional conditions: unstable connectivity at ports, boarding without infrastructure, and transactions that still needed to be secure and reliable.
Navegar simplified boat ticket purchasing in the region and brought organization to operators: digital passenger lists, QR code check-in, and capacity control. For passengers, the trip now begins on their phones.
