Technology Across the Event Journey
Megaleios’s historical account describes the 2019 CIAB FEBRABAN event, held June 11–13 in São Paulo. Organized by the Brazilian Federation of Banks, the financial technology congress combined talks and an exhibition. That edition had ten thematic tracks and more than 140 exhibiting companies. Megaleios developed apps, the website, and interactive features. The work covered different event stages: exhibition preparation, schedule planning, and visitor participation during the congress.
From the Pre-Event App to CIAB de Bolso
Before the congress, Megaleios developed an app used to sell exhibition booths and spaces. For registered attendees, it created CIAB de Bolso for Android and iOS. Attendees could browse the full program and build a personal schedule of talks. A map helped them find exhibitors and key locations, and visitors could vote for the best booth. During sessions, attendees could submit questions and rate talks and speakers. The event website provided information about the congress, institution, talks, keynote speakers, exhibition, and registration. The original account also describes beacons used to measure heat maps and crowd concentration and to send push notifications at specific event locations.

The case study reports 40,000 downloads during the event. The documented delivery combined information, exhibition navigation, and audience participation in a mobile experience, alongside the pre-event app and website. The detailed feature account refers to the 2019 edition; the preserved images show CIAB 2020 branding. The images and narrative document different editions.
